EAST ISLIP RECIEVES NEW 2 1/2 TON BRUSH TRUCK OCTOBER 05 - The East Islip Fire District has taken delivery of their new custom 2 1/2 ton brush truck built by GA Chivvis Corp. The 2 1/2 ton chassis is a "Fully Reprocessed" 2 1/2 ton by Memphis Equipment Co of Memphis, Tennessee. GA CHIVVIS CORP HELPS SOUTHAMPTON FD HONOR 9/11 SEPTEMBER 11 - On the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Southampton Fire Department dedicated their new 9/11 memorial, in front of the new Hampton Rd fire station. GA Chivvis Corp is proud to have fabricated the centerpiece of the monument, an all aluminum box with custom paint scheme. WESTBURY FD EXTREME DUTY BUMPER RETROFIT JANUARY 05 - Recently completed is the extreme duty bumper retrofit for the Westbury Fire Department. The original stainless steel bumper was removed and the chassis extended. Front suction was repiped with a swivel on top of the apron.
